Our Story

Somewhere around 3 decades ago, a friend allowed me to put some plant here temporarily. I was selling my home, and didn't want to lose all my beloved plants in the process.   We never left! The plants and I made our home here, and my friend became my partner & husband.

The plants flourished and we grew together. We built gardens and greenhouses; we grew herbs & flowers. We supplied restaurants & hotels and found ourselves doing wedding flowers. We built a formal brick pathed garden for display, and my husband built a beautiful cedar arbor to contain all the things we offered. It was an amazing time in our lives!

Long about midway through the decades, we shifted gears. We changed professions, tried new things, explored more options. We dismantled the formal garden, and planted fruit trees. We closed up shop for retail sales and focused on growing food, healthy living  and our new careers.

Even with a successful Fine Gardening business, I knew that someday, I would return to Flower farming.

The ideas began to form with greater urgency. We added a new Gothic style greenhouse, made some upgrades to the old greenhouse, opened up a 1/2 acre of former bed space....and grew flowers! We bought a tractor! We offered pop up flower sales throughout the summer of 2023. There was something special happening in the neighborhood once again!

The new Farm Stand will open Spring 2024. We're doing this!

Stay tuned.....more wonderful things are coming!
